HDTV FAQ

HDTV stands for High Definition Television. This is the basic level in televisions since 2009 and means the resolution is 1080i or 720p.

FullHD is the next level up, and has been the top level in picture quality since 2010. FullHD means the resolution is 1920 x 1080 and often referred to as 1080p (p stands for Progressive meaning the frames are instantaneous rather then i standing for Integrated where the frames are refreshed more like a Venetian blind effect).

1080p is fantastic for all televisions 19inch up to 65″.
